The jingles are in the air! Tis the most wonderful time of the year...! Except, many of us feel a lot of overwhelm during this time because of the thousand things that need to be done to make the most of the holiday season! From an Ayurvedic standpoint, we are about to enter Kapha season with the upcoming Winter Solstice. I personally call it the hibernation phase! The season is characterized by moisture and heaviness, leading to sluggishness in the body and dullness of the mind. But if done right, Kapha season can be hugely restorative and set you up to thrive and flourish in the new year when it's time for action!
